Members of Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) wore red on Friday, February 2nd for National Wear Red Day.  Wear Red Day is an initiative of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.  This campaign was launched in 2004 to raise awareness about heart disease in women.

Ten SCSP members attended their weekly Bingo on Friday at 2pm and wore red to show their support for National Wear Red Day.  There normally isn’t a dress code but, the participantswere specifically asked to wear red to commemorate the national day of observance.

“The seniors were happy to wear red and discussed among themselves about the importance of why. The day before, Spring Creek Senior Partners shared Heart Healthy Tips with clients,” said Robin Devonish, NORC Supervisor.
