For the Spooktacular season, students at Gateway Intermediate School (IS) 364 traveled to Floyd Bennet Field’s Green Meadows Farm on October 14th to pick pumpkins.
It was an all-out farm day for the senior class at IS 364, where staff stated that the group created memories to last a lifetime. In addition, to picking the perfect pumpkin to carve into a jack-o’-lantern, the teens were also able to engage with a variety of farm animals, enjoy a fun hayride throughout the site, and pose in funny photo booths. Some had fun feeding sheep and cows, while others were happy to hop onto the back of a tractor for their hayride.
