On Sept. 10th, artists from Albright College showcased their finest designs for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on the runway in Manhattan.
Albright’s shining alumni and current student designers took the city streets by storm with beauty, glamor, and flair. These students included: Olivia Connor, Na’Yalaijah Fournillier, Camille Fuller, Nicholas Kedge, Sarah Kim, Jonathan Otero, Liz Polley, and Jennifer Raineri. The college’s fashion graduates are often known to work around the world with renowned celebrity stylists, influencers, and designers like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and others.
This year’s show included satin tops for casual work wear, chiffon sleeves to impress on the catwalk and sidewalk, tulle leather jacket combos, denim suits, airy dresses, and gorgeous gowns for formal events. The two designers that truly stood out to the Spring Creek Sun in this collection were Jonathan Otero’s and his stunning gowns with each look giving off an ethereal glow as well as Na’Yalaijah Fournillier’s intricate denim attire appearing sleek and cool just in time for the fall weather.
