Frederick Douglass Academy (FDA) VIII kicked off the first week of school with a fun carnival on September 9th inside of their schoolyard.
Bouncy castles, cotton candy machines, buckets of popcorn and music were just a few of the activities FDA VIII’s staff utilized to bring back the school spirt for the start of term. Teachers donned feather boas as they posed atop of a 360-photo booth while others competed in relay races with students through a bouncy castle.

It was an afternoon of bonding between peers and their instructors as they played games to get to know one another better.
