On August 3rd an officer of the Spring Creek Towers Department (SCT) of Public Safety (DPS), witnessed a Blue Ford Explorer smash through the glass windowpane of CVS pharmacy at 1346 Granville Payne Ave, crashing into the cashier counter service area. Upon further investigation, the DPS officer observed that three individuals received non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Brookdale Hospital.
Additionally, the driver and a passenger remained on the scene until EMS arrived and transported them to Brookdale Hospital.
As the scene began to be cleared, the driver’s husband retrieved the vehicle accompanied by members of the NYPD and SCT Maintenance crews removed debris and boarded up CVS’s display windows.
