The New York International Auto Show got their engines revving once more during their return to the Jacob Javits Convention Center from April 15 to April 24.
The renowned display of top-notch vehicle manufactures was forced to cancel the convention for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially since the Javits Center served as a temporary field hospital and then a vaccination site. Making an epic return in an expanded Javits Center, the New York International Auto Show kicked off its reopening with remarks from Governor Kathy Hochul and its prestigious World Car Awards.
While Hochul announced New York State’s many initiatives to encourage electric vehicles by installing numerous charging stations and other endeavors, the New York International Auto Show showcased the most technologically advanced electric cars hitting the streets in 2022. In addition to the cars, the show offered attendees a chance to experience the largest indoor EV Test Track ever constructed at the convention, which allowed visitors to ride a wide range of electric vehicles (this was also complemented with their outdoor jeep test track).
From enjoying test speed runs indoors to sitting inside of spectacular sports cars, the New York International Auto Show returned in glorious fast and furious action.
