On July 21st, at approximately 9:14 am the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and NYPD’s 75th Precinct received a report of a bank robbery at HSBC Bank at 1330 Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to DPS’ incident report, a HSBC Bank teller informed police that a man entered the bank and passed along a note to her demanding “$100 bills and no ink pack.” The teller handed the man $500, and he immediately fled the bank. No injuries were reported.
This investigation is ongoing, and police are still searching for the suspect.
