Renowned actress Kate Hudson promoted her debut album with a fan signing event at Barnes & Noble (B&N) 5th Avenue on July 11th.

Hundreds of Hudson’s eager fans excitedly lined up outside of the Midtown B&N ready to meet their favorite actress turned singer. While the album, ‘Glorious,’ dropped in May by HK Music and Virgin Music Group, Hudson is still doing her rounds promoting it.

Hudson has earned countless accolades for her work in the film and television industry—including a Golden Globe and Academy Award nomination for her role in Almost Famous. With 39 award nominations, 18 wins, the daughter of Hollywood comedic sweetheart Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson has earned herself a new moniker, a Billboard-charting artist.

In creating the album, Hudson worked with songwriter Linda Perry, Johan Carlsson, and her fiancé Danny Fujikawa (who is a part of the band Chief). ‘Glorious’ is a12-track album that combines pop-rock and showcases Hudson’s raspy melodic voice, paying homage to the great female rock singers like Stevie Nicks.

Hudson was all smiles as she sat at the table meeting each of her fans, signing their CDs and vinyl records and posing for pictures.
