On August 2nd, police precincts throughout the country participated in National Night
Out Against Crime, an effort to bridge relationships to the community as well as provide
information about local programs.
The 75th Precinct, which covers the easternmost portion of Brooklyn, consisting of East New York and Cypress Hills (this includes Spring Creek Towers), hosted their event at the Robert Venable Park on 1411 Sutter Avenue from 2pm to 7pm. The fun-filled event featured free food, a bouncy house,
giveaways, a live DJ, and numerous vendors.
Several elected officials, including Mayor Eric Adams, attended the festivities to deliver remarks and presented a proclamation to the commanding officers.
