On June 6th, Abe Stark Primary School (PS) 346’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) hosted their end of the year carnival much to the delight of the children.
The smell of freshly popped popcorn, strawberry cotton candy, and sweet blueberry shaved ice were among the many delicious aromas that wafted throughout the entire PS 346 playground during their annual carnival extravaganza. All of the children were able to eat these snacks for free along with play a host of games and participate in activities which the PTA says is thanks to several local sponsors including: BJ’s, Armando’s Pizza, City Fresh, CVS Pharmacy, and Golden Crust.
The PTA also pitched a handful of pinstriped tents with games such as a bean bag toss, test your aim by knocking down cans and more. Winners were given tickets, which they could use toward a variety of toy prizes.
The students danced and laughed together as they awaited their turn to jump inside of the bouncy castle or climb up an inflatable slide. There was also a face painting station, creating the perfect carnival ambiance for all to enjoy.
