On July 26th Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) held their very own version of the ever-popular game show, Family Feud. Ten participants excitedly were ready to play Family Feud from 12pm to 2pm, and were waiting in the community room at SCSP’s office at 160 Schroeders Avenue.
Two teams were formed by where the participants were already sitting. Jade, the Coordinator of Volunteers and Events took over the role that Steve Harvey has on the TV Game Show in the beginning and Ms. Caraway, a client also played Steve Harvey’s role as well and Jean, the HUD Service Coordinator kept score.
Each team answered questions in all sorts of categories and had fun while doing so.
The teams were called Team Wonder and Golden Girls and both played well but, Team Wonder made it to the final round and won.
Although there weren’t any prizes, there were bragging rights that will continue until the next game.
“Those who participated from clients to staff believe the event went well. Everyone was engaged. There was laughter and fun were had by all,” said Robin Devonish, NORC Supervisor.
