On Wednesday, February 14th Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) participated in the Brooklyn Sports Club’s (BSC) Health Expo. The health expo was in the lobby of the BSC from 10am to 1pm. There were some vendors and a nurse present at the health expo. This was the initial kickoff of a partnership between the SCSP and the BSC.
“February is heart health Month and we wanted to educate our clients on the importance of maintain a healthy heart,” said SCSP Executive Director, Jahiah Wilson.
SCSP’s table consisted of brochures, flyers and their calendar of events that they are having for the month. Approximately 15 of SCSP clients attended the health expo and visited the SCSP table along with approximately seven other attendees. SCSP gave out goody bags for all of the attendees that visited their table. The goody bags consisted of a cup, a tote bag and information about SCSP.
“It was an amazing turnout,” said Wilson.
