On Friday, May 6th, each of the Starrett Early Learning Center (SELC) classes held virtual performances for their mothers, grandmothers, and female figures in their lives for Mother’s Day on Zoom. Each class had their own unique way of expressing their love for their moms, grandmothers, aunts, and female figures.
Some of the classes recited poems like ‘Mother, I Love You’, and sang their own renditions of songs like Stevie Wonder’s ‘I Just Called to Say I Love You’, ‘I Love You Mommy’ and ‘Mother’s Day’ while other students did dances. Some of the students recited statements about how much and what their mom means to them. These children conveyed their happiness for their moms for Mother’s Day.
The students were so cute and ecstatic to show their love and to praise their moms.
