The American Nightmare is here and ready to rumble in WWE 2K24! Developer Visual Concepts and Publisher 2K Games released the latest iteration in the WWE’s gaming series on March 4th and it is bigger and better than ever before.

This year, the newest outing to the squared circle is far more than just a new roster update with the latest and greatest grapplers from the past and present, it also comes with a host of new match types and game modes.

Game Play

The main story mode will see players reliving some of the most memorable matches from the four-decade history of the company’s most celebrated event. Gamers must perform historic moments like lifting Andre the Giant as Hulk Hogan, defeating Shawn Michaels as the Undertaker, or playing through the first ever women’s main event.

Other modes include asking players to create their own female and male superstars to play through two original narratives. This combined with My Faction — a mode that lets players collect cards — Universe Mode that in which WWE aficionados can tailor make their own experience, and My GM mode, putting gamers in charge of booking their own shows, leaves a stack of content.

New game types include the likes of ambulance and casket matches while returning fan favorites like special guest referee and wargames also shine as memorable experiences.

Conclusion

If this wasn’t enough, 2K games have also promised a slew of downloadable contact opportunities for the future, including the return of CM Punk, marking the first time he has been in a WWE video game for almost 10 years.

The sheer customizable options and ability to play online with friends will keep players occupied for months, especially with downloadable content set until the end of the year.
