Spring Creek Towers Community
Spring Creek Towers (SCT), formerly known as Starrett City, opened to it first residents in 1974 with the vision of creating a “City within a City.” Now, the 46-building residential complex nestled between a national state park, the Belt Parkway and East New York has blossomed into a vibrant community filled with diverse residents. On June 13, 1974, the very first issue of the Spring Creek Sun was published, and since then has served as a platform to uplift the community’s voice.
