Pride in Brooklyn

NYC Pride kicked off a week of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer+ (LGBTQ) celebration with TEAZE, a diverse party in the Lambda Lounge in Brooklyn on June 22nd.

An assortment of rainbow flags, glitter, and thumping music beckoned those walking along Grand Street despite the blistering heat at the Lambda Lounge. Beneath the glow of a mirrored disco ball, dozens of guests danced and played with beach balls. It was an evening intended to highlight Queer existence “Teazing” New York’s most diverse party experience. Catered to adults over the age of 21, this celebration included live DJs, photo opportunities, activities and lots of dancing.

As advocates gather to bring awareness to the ongoing struggle members of the LGBTQ+ community face, TEAZE works to break the ice for pride week by celebrating Queer existence. The event underscored the importance of diversity, love and liberation, and hopes to connect individuals together through a fun night celebrating LGBTQ+ pride.
