On September 25th, thousands gathered at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens for AEW Grand Slam eager to witness some of the most talented athletes in wrestling history battle it out in the ring.

Wrestling fans arrived decked out in t-shirts featuring their favorite grapplers, with some sporting a replica AEW championship belt over their shoulder as they entered the stadium ready to watch Grand Slam- from 7pm to nearly midnight.

The excitement escalated as spectators enjoyed thrilling matches that included the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuiness, Hook vs. Roderick Strong for the FTW Championship belt, Mariah May vs. Yuka Sakazaki for the AEW Women’s World Championship belt, and a nail-biting contender match between Darby Allin and Jon Moxley.

After these intense bouts, fans were able to watch the pre-recorded segment of Friday’s Collision including Saraya’s Rule Match featuring Jamie Hayter vs. The Outcasts, Jack Perry vs. Minoru Suzuki for the TNT Championship Open Challenge match, among others.

Each body slam and roundhouse kick could be felt around the arena as the wrestlers’ dedication and skills as they poured their hearts out on the mat.
