Spring Creek Towers’ residents participated in the Learn and Create Leather workshops on May 13th and May 20th. In these workshops, attendees were able to create their own leather bracelets. The workshops were conducted by Ms. Eurydice Robinson of Eury Luxe and were held in the lower level of the Brooklyn Sports Club from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and were only $15 per person.
Participants were able to choose from a selection of beads, and charms in a variety of different colors to incorporate on the leather bracelets that they were learning to make. They created their own personalized leather beaded bracelets and learned how to thread beads, wrap them around their leather piece to construct their own innovative designs.
The Learn and Create Leather workshops were held just in time for residents to create marvelous items to either wear themselves or to use as a gift for Mother’s Day.
“We enjoyed our Pre-Mother’s Day celebration with some great music, pizza, chicken and soft drinks. Everyone was happy that they came in to participate in this event,” said Robinson.
