PopViewers Welcomes Deon Cole for ‘Vibes and Views’ Screening of Average Joe 

PopViewers hosted its “Vibes and Views” event on Aug. 24 at SoHo House, featuring a screening of the Paramount+ series Average Joe followed by a question-and-answer session with its star, actor and comedian Deon Cole. 

Following the screening, Cole joined PopViewers CEO and founder Chris Witherspoon for a conversation about his career in television and film, his experiences in the entertainment industry and the lessons he has learned along the way. 

During the discussion, Cole shared a message about perseverance and maintaining perspective through life’s challenges. 

“The lesson that has taken me the longest to learn is that everything is going to be ok,” Cole said. “It’s gonna always work out. It always does if you really think about it.” 

Witherspoon also asked Cole about his work on Average Joe, giving attendees insight into the series and the experiences behind his performances. The conversation offered fans an opportunity to hear directly from the comedian about his professional journey and personal outlook. 

Following the event, Witherspoon thanked Cole and the audience for contributing to the evening’s success. 

“I just wanna show love and thank you to everybody who came out for one of our best Vibes and Views yet,” Witherspoon said. “Thank you Deon for keeping it real, making us laugh and dropping more than a few gems along the way.” 

The event reflected PopViewers’ approach to entertainment, combining film and television screenings with conversations that allow audiences to connect with the people behind the performances. 

By pairing Average Joe with an intimate discussion, “Vibes and Views” gave attendees both an opportunity to enjoy the series and a closer look at Cole’s experiences in the entertainment industry.
