On August 8th Spring Creek Senior Partners’ (SCSP) members took a trip to see the Brooklyn Cyclones play against The Iron Birds and the Cyclones won!
Eleven attendees and SCSP’s Administrative Assistant, Jasmine Jennings, took a Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCOGCI) bus service to the MCU Park to enjoy America’s favorite pastime—Baseball!
Everyone met at SCSP’s office at 11:30 am and returned back from the Cyclones game at 3:30pm. Attendees were able to show their tickets to receive a discount on food items if they were purchasing any at the park. SCSP supplied the participants with snacks and water, so that they could stay hydrated.
“This was my first baseball game ever as well as some of our clients, so it was great to be able to see my older adults really enjoying themselves. I hope that I get a chance to go again,” said Jennings about the trip.
