Spring Creek Towers (SCT), formerly known as Starrett City, opened to it first residents in 1974 with the -vision -of creating a “City within a City.†Now, the 46-building residential complex nestled between a national state park, the Belt Parkway and East New York has blossomed into a vibrant community – filled with diverse residents.

In honor of the anniversary, Twin Pines Management hosted a -field day themed event on September 28th from 11 am to 5 pm at the G Section Lawn. Despite the rain, residents flocked to the event, eager to – enjoy yoga, Zumba, music, games, food and giveaways.

Residents threw their hands in the air with excitement as they dance, colored in a mural depicting SCT buildings, played checkers, and shared their fondest memories of the complex on a board.
