Every year Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) honors those who’ve dedicated the time to help them in their mission to provide older adults with wellness activities, health workshops, and opportunities to socialize.
On June 21st, SCSP provided volunteers with an afternoon filled with good music, delicious food and certificates of appreciation for their continued support and hard work at the Brooklyn Sports Club’s (BSC) patio.
Beneath the bright sun, seniors laughed together as they chatted about the latest music and activities available in the com-munity. It was an afternoon of relaxation, a well-deserved moment for these steadfast volunteers to find some respite from their busy days.
Councilmember Chris Banks was also in attendance, offering citations that acknow-ledged the seniors for their contributions.
