We’ve got a winner!!!!
The Spring Creek Sun’s contest corner is back and there are already happy winners who claimed their prize this week. Every spring and summer, the Office of Community Affairs and Public Relations receives Cyclones tickets to raffle off for the community.
The Sun asked the community when the Coney Island’s Cyclone roller coaster was first built, and two lucky winners got the answer right. Members of the Starrett Judo Club told Spring Creek Sun’s Editor-in-Chief Pamela Stern that the Cyclone rollercoaster was built in 1927!
The judokas shared photos of their experience meeting Cyclones mascots and watching the May 2nd game against the Aberdeen IronBirds.
