Last month, Runway 7 once again impressed audiences at their New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall/Winter 2023 showcase, intertwining extravagant attire with Broadway worthy performances from September 7th to September 10th at Sony Hall.
On September 9th, six designers stood out amongst the 110 brands Runway 7 featured during their NYFW shows: Tara Bhuyan Couture, Vintage Fusion Jewelry, 2Chique Boutique, Jingli Somya Gupta, Black Role Model, and Pitaco. All hailing from different parts of the world and various walks of life, these designers displayed intricate clothing that spoke to both their ingenuity and diversity.
From a vintage upcycled wearable art brand Vintage Fusion Jewelry to sustainable bridal wear Tara Bhuyan Couture—the pieces displayed on September 9th were prime examples of green art.
Since Runway 7’s inception, the organization has uplifted artists, many of whom were debuting for the first time, from across the globe. In addition, Runway 7 has helped streamline the fashion world by offering production and manufacturing services to their designers, creating a 360-degree approach to working with brand partners.
Runway 7 also donated a percentage of its proceeds to Mount Sinai’s Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis, something the company has done for several years.
