FDA VIII is “Tutu” Cool to be a Bully!

On March 22nd, students and staff at Frederick Douglass Academy (FDA) VIII showed that they are “‘Tutu’ cool to be a bully, and their ‘Ties’ are too strong to be broken!â€


This bullying awareness theme invited students to wear a tie and/or tutu while also encouraging them to write phrases of affirmation on a board located in the school’s hallway. Some phrases of affirmation included, “I am beautiful,†“All of my problems have solutions,†and “I believe in myself.â€
