Holiday merriment with Spring Creek Towers’ Youth and Young Adults

By Amanda Moses and JaJuan Morris-Guity
The Opportunity Hub stepped into the role of Santa Claus this holiday season, filling its own red sack with toys collected through a generous toy drive supported by Condé Nast and New York Cares. Throughout the season, the team spread cheer across the community, visiting the Early Learning Center, Abe Stark Primary School 346, Urban Strategies, HELP USA, and other neighborhood partners to distribute gifts—bringing smiles, laughter, and holiday magic to local youth.
The season of giving continued at Spring Creek Towers, where members of the Young Adults Program were also celebrated during their annual holiday party. In the true spirit of the season, The OppHub’s YAP Department hosted its Holiday Party at the Brooklyn Sports Club, creating a night filled with connection and celebration.

From friendly games and pool matches to delicious food and even better fellowship, young adults came together to unwind and build community. Special thanks to Devon Bowen for the gourmet spread, and to Jai Moore and the RISE Team for sharing valuable insight into job and internship opportunities. It was a night that perfectly captured the heart of the holidays—community, opportunity, and joy all in one place.
