On August 8th, members of Spring Creek Senior Partners (SCSP) had an opportunity to meet Detective Abdul of the 75th Precinct. Detective Abdul is the liaison between the NYPD and SCSP. Detective Abdul discussed with the SCSP members a few topics that directly affect them. Some of the topics that he discussed are: Elder Abuse, Medicaid Scams, and SNAP scams that are targeting the older adults. He advised the seniors how to prepare, what to do and what to look out for to avoid having these scams don’t to them. SCSP will have another opportunity for the older adults to meet with Detective Abdul that hasn’t been determined just yet. For more information please call SCSP at 718-348-7620
