Teen Central Hosts A Halloween Skate Party at The BSC Gym
On October 31, The Opp Hub’s Parent Engagement Coordinator and “Teen Central” program hosted Halloween “Skate-N-Treat” at The Brooklyn Sports Club Gym.

With two sessions: session #1 (6PM-7PM) for ages 5-11 and session #2 (7PM-8PM) for ages (12-17), a multitude of local families from the neighborhood came out for a night of wholesome fun and pure enjoyment.

In addition to roller skating, there was a live DJ, costume photo station, candy station and more on-site. There were 40 spots for each session and the turnout was phenomenal.

Many kids dressed up and even some parents opted to “pop out” and cosplay in the spirit of the occasion as well.
Costume selection was eclectic as parents and children/teens dressed up to the nines.
Given the positive reception and turnout, the prospect of bringing back the skate party doesn’t seem far-fetched at all. Feel free to follow @theopphub on Instagram for updates on upcoming events.
