Halloween Pumpkin Carving With Teen Central and YAP
On October 28th, The Opp Hub’s “Teen Central” and “Young Adult” Program cultivated a fun filled evening of Pumpkin Carving for the community’s teens and young adults to indulge for the Halloween season.
Led by Eileen Level (Program Manager, Teen & Young Adult Programs) and Jesse Miller (Senior Director, Farm), there were two separate sessions: 5PM for teens and 7PM for Young Adults.

Hosted at Spring Creek Towers Farm, myriad members of the community came out to carve their own custom designs on pumpkins and engage in safe, quality fellowship right before the holiday, which took place this year on Friday, October 31st.

In addition to pumpkin carving, there were trick or treat appropriate snacks and Halloween inspired music. As the sun went down, the final iteration of pumpkins was able to shine brightly in the evening bloom.
Based on the positive vibes and good energy present during the event, it was a major hit and perhaps one that will continue to manifest as The Opportunity Hub continues to evolve and give back to the community.
