“In your easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it, you’ll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade!” Like the infamous 1933 song written by Irving Berlin, the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival made Fifth Avenue a sight to behold on March 31st.
Hundreds upon hundreds of spectators and participants lined the streets of Fifth Avenue just outside of St. Patrick’s Cathedral donning some of the most fashionable, extravagant, and ostentatious hats.
